Has anyone else been following the legal proceedings around Hilly K. Hardesty? I’ve been thinking a lot about how the justice system deals with cases like this where there's such widespread devastation. It’s a lot to process, knowing that someone could inflict so much pain in such a short amount of time. I can’t imagine what Jeanette’s family must be going through, not to mention relatives of the other victims. It's been many years, but do you think justice has truly been served in this case? With the complexity involved in cases like these, I'm curious how others view the balance between punishment and rehabilitation, or if that even feels like a reasonable option given the circumstances.
