I’ve been reflecting a lot on the tragic incident involving Officer Sherdard Raymund Brison, and I can’t help but feel deeply for his family, especially considering his service history. It's truly distressing to think about the repeat offenses of the suspect and how our justice system sometimes falls short in protecting both the community and the officers who risk their lives every day. Officer Brison wasn’t just a cop; he was a Vietnam War veteran, a husband, and a father. His courage should be acknowledged, and his sacrifice remembered. I hope his family finds peace in knowing he was a hero who dedicated his life to serving others. Just can’t imagine the void they must feel.
