Has anyone else been following the arraignment process in Deric Wilson's case? It's been difficult to watch how these teenagers, only a little younger than Deric himself, are now facing such severe charges at such a young age. It’s a sobering reminder of how quickly life can spiral out of control. I can't imagine what Deric's family is going through, knowing that some lives are being upended once again as the legal battle unfolds. I'm really interested in how the community is dealing with this—both in terms of coming to terms with the loss of someone so young and processing the reality of youth violence.
