I was thinking a lot about the role of the witnesses who testified in Montel Kenyatta Wright’s murder case. It must’ve taken a lot of courage for them to come forward and share what they saw and heard that tragic day. Having multiple people notice Montario Marquise Taylor entering and leaving the house really strengthened the case when there wasn’t direct forensic evidence. Witness testimony can often be the deciding factor in these kinds of cases, and it just reminds me of the responsibility we all have to speak up when something isn't right. It's a heavy burden, but their bravery helped bring some justice for Montel. My heart goes out to his loved ones—they’ve endured so much. Stay strong, Flint community.
