So many thoughts and feelings about this tragedy. One thing that sticks out to me is the sheer irresponsibility of storing a loaded firearm in a place accessible to kids. It's so difficult to grasp how someone would think it was safe to leave a gun and ammo under a dresser, especially knowing young ones were aware of it. I feel such deep sadness for Emarjae's family. His life was cut short in such a senseless way, and it's got to be excruciating for his loved ones to process the circumstances. This case really should be a wake-up call about gun safety and the need for legal accountability in these situations. It's gut-wrenching to even imagine how easily this could have been prevented with just a bit more care and foresight. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this tragedy, hoping they find strength and support in their community.
