Juan Antonio Dieguez Godinez, a 31-year-old man originally from Guatemala, went missing on May 29, 2022, near Falfurrias, Texas, while attempting to migrate to the United States. His goal was to reach Colorado, where a friend had promised to help him find work. On that day, he last communicated with his brother via WhatsApp, informing him that he and others were preparing to walk towards a location known as "El Levantón" to be picked up later. This was the final time anyone heard from him.
