Did anyone else notice the timing of the DPD's investigation results? I find it interesting that the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office released their findings almost exactly two years after Michael's tragic death. It seems like a long time to conclude that the officers were justified, especially with the family's persistent claims and their lawsuit questioning the entire narrative.
I genuinely feel for Michael’s family. Losing someone so young is devastating, and having unanswered questions must make it even harder for them. With their push for transparency and justice, shouldn’t the department be more forthcoming about the details? The absence of the body cam footage just raises more doubts for many of us watching this unfold. Thoughts?
Has anyone else been following the lack of body cam footage in the Michael Contrell Adams III case? I can't help but think transparency is key here, especially when there's such differing stories about what happened that night. On one hand, the officers say he pointed a gun at them, but I've heard the family's attorney mention Adams’ DNA wasn't on the weapon found. It's incredibly important to get it right, for Michael's family and for the community. It wouldn't be the first time we've seen discrepancies in cases like this. I feel for the family who just wants answers and closure. Anyone have any thoughts on the prosecutor's decision, or why the footage hasn't been released yet?
Has anyone else been following the Michael Contrell Adams III case closely? I've been digging into the unfolding events, particularly the controversy around the gun allegedly found at the scene. It baffles me how there seems to be conflicting info about his DNA being absent from it. If his family’s claims are accurate, and Michael was unarmed, that deeply shifts the narrative surrounding his tragic death. I can’t imagine the pain his loved ones are experiencing while trying to piece together what really happened. The lack of available body cam footage only adds to the frustration and confusion, making transparency feel like a distant hope. I’m curious to hear your thoughts - how do you all feel about the police department’s decision not to release the body cam footage over concerns about the undercover officers? It’s hard to see a resolution that truly provides peace without more clarity.
