Did anyone else find it incredibly sad how Elizabeth and Herman's story ended? I mean, they went through so much throughout their lives, only to find each other again after all those years. It’s such a stark reminder that even those closest to us might be silently struggling. Reading about how Elizabeth supported Herman through his cancer battle just breaks my heart. She must have been such a caring person. It makes you wonder if there were signs of trouble that everyone missed or if it was something that they both kept deeply private. My thoughts are with their family and friends now as they try to process this devastating loss. I can't imagine what they must be going through.
