I’ve been following the Bennie Scroggins case and recently came across some information that makes the whole thing even sadder, if that’s possible. Apparently, Bennie was really active in her community back in the day. She was involved in so many local events and clubs in Saginaw and was known to be incredibly kind and generous. It breaks my heart to think that someone who contributed so much to her community ended up losing her life in such a tragic manner, especially at the hands of a family member. From what I gather, Bennie had been a fixture in her neighborhood for decades, and everyone around her knew her as a kind soul. I can only imagine the shock and pain this caused, not just for her family, but for all her friends and neighbors in Saginaw. It’s hard to wrap my mind around how something like this could happen. I really hope the community is finding some way to move forward while honoring her memory. If anyone has more info on how Saginaw is handling this or if there are any initiatives in her name, please share. It’s so important we don’t forget her and what she meant to so many people.
