Hey everyone, I've been following Shawn Ewing's case, and I can't stop thinking about the emotional toll this must be taking on his family, especially with Lateshia and Jovan actively seeking justice. It's beyond comprehension how a family can endure such pain while also trying to rally for support in their time of need. I came across a mention of a vigil that was held by the community a few weeks after the incident. From what I gather, it was a beautiful yet heartrending gathering, filled with Shawn's friends, classmates, and neighbors sharing memories and lighting candles to honor his life. The strength to come together amidst such tragedy is both inspiring and profoundly sad. I keep wondering how we can do more to assist families like Shawn’s in these situations. It’s already been over two years, and still no arrests. If anyone else has been to these community vigils or has insights on how to support families in similar situations, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Those left behind need all the support and love we can offer.
