It's been over two years since Rico Rashawn Hayes was taken from us, and I can't help but feel for his family and friends who are still seeking answers. I recently drove past the area on Riordan Street where the tragedy happened, and it really struck me how a place can look so ordinary yet hold such a somber story. It’s unsettling to think about life carrying on just feet away from where such a violent act occurred.
Does anyone know if there’ve been any vigils or gatherings in his memory? Community support can sometimes be the key in keeping a case like this active. It makes me wonder if keeping Rico’s memory alive publicly could encourage someone with information to come forward. It's so important for his loved ones, and for the community as a whole, to see this through. If you have any insight, or know of any community efforts underway for his case, please share. We can't let this become a cold file—Rico's life meant so much more than that.
Hey everyone,
I couldn't stop thinking about Rico Rashawn Hayes and the unsolved nature of his case. It just seems so surreal that someone could be targeted in such a ruthless manner while sitting in their car. Has there been any mention of surveillance cameras in the area of Riordan Street where this happened? It's baffling how, even with modern technology, cases like this can remain open for so long without significant leads.
Also, it saddens me to think about his family and what they must be going through, not just with the loss but with so many questions left unanswered. I wish we could find a way to support them in keeping Rico’s memory alive and the pursuit of justice ongoing. If anyone has any ideas or ways we can participate as a community, I'd love to hear them. Hoping we can shine some light on this case and bring some peace to his family.
I've been following Rico Rashawn Hayes' case closely, and something that stands out to me is the community's role in solving this. From what I've read about Muskegon, it's a tight-knit area where people look out for each other. I can't help but think that someone knows something that could be crucial to shedding light on what happened that tragic night.
It's so difficult for families going through situations like this when there's little progress or updates. The lack of arrests must be incredibly frustrating and painful for Rico's loved ones. If anyone from the community hears or recalls anything—even if it seems minor—I hope they find the courage to come forward. Every piece of information can potentially make a huge difference.
Rico's family deserves answers and justice. Thinking of them and hoping for a breakthrough soon.
