I've been following the case of Dejuan White, and something that really struck me was how it took so long for law enforcement to connect the dots regarding Kevin Curtis Moore's whereabouts. Dejuan's family must have endured such unimaginable pain not knowing where Moore was, fearing he might hurt someone else. It's deeply troubling that Moore had been in the Wayne County morgue for two months before being identified. This lapse raises serious questions about the processes in place for identifying individuals in such situations. It makes me wonder, could more timely identification and communication between departments have brought some closure sooner for Dejuan's loved ones? I sincerely hope that this tragedy prompts changes to prevent any other families from experiencing such prolonged uncertainty. My thoughts are with everyone affected by this case.
