In the pre-dawn hours of a Friday in August 2021, a devastating series of events unfolded, leaving a family shattered and a community in shock. It was around 4:00 a.m. at a home on Concord Lane in Farmington Hills, Michigan, when a loud noise at the front door startled Dejuan White and his fiancée, Veronica Flowers. White, a 40-year-old male, went to investigate and was tragically shot through the storm door. Flowers ran downstairs to find her fiancé on the floor behind the shattered door. The ...
