Wow, the case of Antonio "Scooby" Lee Mayes is just devastating. I can't imagine the pain his family is going through. One thing that really stuck out to me was how quickly and decisively the Oakland County Sheriff's Office acted following the shooting. From the initial call to the arrest of Stanford Sharp Jr., it seems like they worked efficiently to get him into custody and start the legal process. It must be some small relief for the family to see that justice is being pursued, even though it doesn't bring Antonio back. But it also makes me think about how these situations often arise from deeper issues that need addressing. Maybe if we had more resources for conflict resolution and community support, tragedies like this could be prevented in the future. Sending thoughts to everyone who knew and loved Antonio.
