I've been following the case of Antory Burrell and am constantly struck by the bravery shown by Demontae Knight Jr. It's mind-blowing to think about what he must have endured during and after the shooting. Pretending to be dead to survive, and then having the courage to provide key testimony against Cinecca Madison—it’s simply incredible. I can’t imagine the trauma and strength it takes to relive such a horrific event and speak out. My heart goes out to him as he navigates the recovery process, both physically and emotionally. This tragedy has left a mark not just on these young men's families but on the entire Holland community. It’s a stark reminder of how deeply gun violence affects everyone, and I hope justice will give some measure of peace to those affected.
