Has anyone else been following the details about Saniyah Pugh's tragic case? Something that really stuck with me was how the community came together at the vigil. It was moving to see so many people showing up to support Saniyah's family and to demand change. The pain in her family’s eyes was so clear, and it’s hard not to feel their loss deeply. I can't imagine what they're going through. As much as discussions around legal outcomes and sentences matter, it's these moments of collective grieving and solidarity that highlight just how deeply rooted gun violence issues are. Hoping these gatherings will drive real conversations about preventing such senseless tragedies. It feels like we owe it to Saniyah and her loved ones to keep pushing for a safer community.
