I've been following Kevin Slater's case for a while, and I keep thinking about how dedicated he was to his community and his country. It's so upsetting that someone with his background—a respected Air Force veteran and a positive force in Gulfport—could have his life cut short in such a violent way. I wasn't from Gulfport, but I know that cases like his have a huge impact on everyone who knew him and even those who just lived in the area. It's unsettling how quickly life can be turned upside down. What stands out to me is how meticulous and decorated he was in his Air Force service. Those awards he got speak volumes about his character, and I'm sure that discipline and dedication carried over into his civilian life. Sadly, it feels like this is one of those cases where the clock is working against getting answers. I hope his family finds some solace in knowing that people still care about finding justice for Kevin. For those still hoping for a break in the case, keep spreading the word. It's never too late for new information to come to light.

Hey everyone, I’ve been reading up on Kevin Slater’s case and something that really stands out to me is the location where he was found. It's always struck me as odd that his car was found in such a specific spot at the intersection of Tandy Drive and Cora Circle. For those of you familiar with Gulfport, is there anything particularly notable about that area? Was it a common route for him, or is there something peculiar about that intersection that might have been of interest either to Kevin or potentially to his killer? It's so frustrating to think that he served our country with distinction, only to come back and face this kind of tragedy at home. I really hope someone can shed light on this part of the case and maybe help the investigation move forward. Hoping for justice for Kevin and some peace for his family. Thoughts?
