Has anyone else heard anything new about the circumstances surrounding Matthew Boutwell’s passing? I recently came across a thread mentioning how sudden it all seemed, given his active role in the community and his close-knit family ties. It’s bothering me how there doesn't seem to be any follow-up on the investigation, if there ever was one. It must be incredibly tough for his family not to have clarity or answers, especially when someone is as respected and involved in their community as he was. His work with the City of Hattiesburg and MDOT made a real impact, and it’s a little unnerving how suddenly things can shift. If anyone from the area has any insights or updates, even small ones, I’m sure the community would appreciate it. Keeping the Boutwell family in my thoughts.
