Has anyone else been following the emotional toll this case has had on the families involved? My heart truly goes out to Johnnie Cooper's loved ones. I can't imagine the pain they must have felt throughout the trial and beyond. Vernell Miskell's testimony must've been incredibly hard to hear, not just for the court but for everyone close to Cooper. I keep thinking about how families on all sides are affected by cases like this, grappling with loss, guilt, and the chaos these events bring into their lives. It seems like once the legal proceedings wrap up, people tend to forget that families are left picking up the pieces long after. Sending so much strength to everyone touched by this tragedy.
