It's deeply concerning to read about the circumstances surrounding Robert E. Smith Jr.'s tragic death. One aspect that I find puzzling is the role of law enforcement in prior domestic violence incidents. Given Davius's claims about his father's violent behavior, I wonder if there were any previous reports or calls to the police regarding domestic disturbances at their home? It's heartbreaking to think about the fear Davius must have lived with, and I can't help but question if more could have been done by the authorities to offer protection or support to the family before the situation escalated to this point. My thoughts go out to all those affected by this tragedy, especially to Davius as he navigates the aftermath of such an unimaginable event.
