Hey everyone, this has been bothering me for a while. I've been diving deep into Masumi Watanabe's case, and something about Lankford's story just doesn't sit right with me. He claimed she jumped out of the truck after being injured, yet why was he seen talking to her when she was clearly not engaging with him? Was there something else going on between them that we don't know about, or was he just trying to cover his tracks from the start? Also, I can't stop thinking about the ocean claim. Hawaii is surrounded by water, but it's not like bodies just disappear without a trace. Could there be any possibility he hid her somewhere else and used the ocean story as a diversion? Just trying to make sense of these gaps. Anyone else have thoughts or theories?
