Hey everyone, I can't get over how this community has rallied around Evan Henry's case. I was looking into some details about his life and found that he was incredibly determined despite the odds, especially with overcoming dyslexia to graduate from Provine High. It’s truly inspiring. It makes you wonder about all the positive things he could have accomplished if his life hadn’t been cut short. One thing that really struck me was how he had just gotten back from a trip to Atlanta with his fiancée. It should’ve been a time filled with excitement and planning for a future together. Instead, his family was left grappling with the aftermath of yet another senseless act of violence. It’s unimaginable. I think what Evan’s mom, Lula, shared about the last time she saw him really stays with you—“I love you and be safe.” It’s such a poignant reminder of how fragile life is. For me, it highlights the small moments and last words we share with our loved ones. If anyone around here is from Jackson and has any insights or new details, please do share.
