I'm completely taken aback by how easily a disagreement can turn into a tragedy like this. I've been thinking a lot about Mose Lee Daniels' friends and family and what they must be going through. Losing someone so suddenly and violently has got to leave an indescribable void. I've seen discussions about accountability and the justice system here, and while I agree justice needs to be served, I keep thinking about how things could have been different. It's just so senseless. A heated argument over a van and suddenly a life is lost. It makes me wonder if any warning signs were missed, or if anyone tried to intervene before things got out of hand. What drives someone to pull out a weapon during a confrontation? An argument doesn't have to end with someone not going home to their loved ones. For anyone reading this who knew Mose, I want to express my condolences. Please know you're in the thoughts of many people who are hoping for peace and healing for both the Daniels family and even Cayson's family, because they're all suffering now. Let's keep the conversation respectful and consider how we can prevent tragedies like this in the future.
