I can't stop thinking about the location where Martavis was found—Fielding Avenue—since it’s known for being pretty desolate with those abandoned houses. Makes me wonder if that played a role. Such places can unfortunately become hotspots for crime. Was Martavis just in the wrong place at the wrong time? Or did someone lure him there on purpose? It must be so difficult for his family, especially his grandmother, to understand how this happened. I really hope the community can come together to share any information, no matter how small, to bring some justice for Martavis. ?

Hello everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Martavis Brown, and my thoughts are deeply with his grandmother Gladys and the whole community. It's just devastating to think about the bright future Martavis had in front of him, both as a student and an athlete. Something that's been weighing on my mind is the way the community can come together in such times. I've read about other areas with similar issues organizing neighborhood watch programs or community outreach initiatives to foster safer environments. Does anyone know if there are any such initiatives happening in Jackson already, or perhaps plans to start something in Martavis's memory? I truly believe that through community strength and unity, some positive changes might come about. Sending care and support to everyone affected.

Hey everyone, I haven't seen much talk about the area where Martavis was found. Fielding Avenue is known for its abandoned houses, but it makes me wonder why Martavis, a promising young athlete, ended up there. Could it have been a case of wrong place, wrong time, or was there something specific that drew him there? It's so sad to think about how a neighborhood can turn into a risky place for kids just trying to live their lives. The community needs to rally together to figure out how to make our streets safer. Sending love to his grandmother, Gladys. No grandmother should have to bury their grandchild. If anyone has any info or theories, sharing might bring us closer to some answers. Stay safe, folks.
