Has anyone else been following the Eddie Lee Gandy case? It's been hard not to think about the impact this tragedy has on his family and community. I stumbled across an article recently that talked about his life before returning to Columbus. It seems like he led such a rich and hardworking life in Fort Lauderdale, making a name for himself as a welder. It's so incredibly sad that after all those years of building a life and career, it ended in violence. And it's so troubling that two teenagers are involved. What's happening in our communities that leads kids down this path? Do you think more programs or community support could help prevent youth from turning to crime? It just makes you want to hug your loved ones a little tighter. It's a difficult time for Gandy's family, and I hope they find some peace amidst this chaos. ?
