I’ve been thinking a lot about Chad Green lately and just feel such sadness for his family and friends. I read somewhere about how much he loved tending to his plants and spending time by the beach, and it really struck me as such a peaceful image. It’s incredibly upsetting that someone with such calming interests ended up caught in such a violent situation. The whole thing is just so surreal and unfair. My heart goes out to his kids, especially Brittany and William Reed. I hope the community rallies around them and provides them with the love and support they need right now. Does anyone know if there have been any local events or gatherings to remember the victims? I'd like to support in any way I can, even just by attending or sharing it with others.

Wow, just thinking about what Chad's family must be going through right now brings tears to my eyes. I can’t even imagine their pain. On a different note, has anyone else been wondering about the security at that hotel? I read that Chad both lived and worked there. It's terrifying to think that someone could have been walking around with such ill intentions in a place where people should feel safe. Considering Chad's work and living situation, you’d think there would have been some kind of precautions in place. I really hope this tragedy pushes for better security policies at these locations, so this kind of heartwrenching loss doesn’t keep happening. The memories shared about Chad paint a picture of a man who loved life and brought so much joy to those around him. It’s so important we don’t let incidents like this be forgotten and change doesn’t come soon enough. Sending lots of love to everyone who knew and loved Chad ?
