It’s been a year since the loss of Quintavious "Quin" Griffin, and my heart goes out to his family as they continue to seek answers. ? I went to school with Quin during his time at Gautier High, and I can still vividly remember how he lit up the court before his injury. What really struck me about Quin, though, was his genuine kindness. He had this knack for making you feel like you were the most important person in the room, whether it was his contagious laughter or simply asking how your day was. The fact that no arrests or suspects have been confirmed yet is truly unsettling. It feels like the community is still holding its breath, waiting for closure. If anyone has more information or has heard updates about the progress of the investigation, it would mean so much to his family and all who knew him. Remembering Quin can also mean advocating for the truth. Let's keep speaking up until justice is served. ? #JusticeForQuin #RememberingQuin

It's been on my mind how Quintavious, despite no longer being the athlete he'd hoped to be because of his knee injury, found a way to stay close to sports through his work with the football film crew at East Mississippi College. It shows his resilient spirit and passion for the game, finding a new path after life threw a curveball his way. It’s such a shame that someone with that much tenacity and kindness was taken so soon. I hope the investigation gets to the bottom of what happened. He deserved to have his dreams and make more memories with those he loved. Keeping his family and friends in my thoughts.

I’ve been following Quin’s case since it happened, and there’s something about his role in the community that I can’t stop thinking about. By all accounts, he was a total team player, even after he had to give up basketball. I heard he really found his stride filming for the football team at East Mississippi College, and it seems like he was the kind of guy that everyone just naturally liked and respected. It makes me wonder if being so involved in sports and school activities meant he might’ve known a lot of people, maybe even ones who could’ve been involved in some way. Isn’t it possible that being so well-known and respected might lead to jealousy or grudges? Just thinking out loud here, but it feels so important that the investigation looks deeply at all the angles, especially considering how much Quin meant to those around him. His memory deserves nothing less than full justice.
