I recently came across something unsettling about the Sirloin Stockade murders that I hadn't given much thought to before. It has to do with the courage it must have taken for the surviving loved ones of the victims to face the trials. I can't imagine the strength it required for the families, particularly David Salsman's family, to sit through the court proceedings, hear the gruesome details, and relive that loss over and over. The legal system can be so draining, and for them to show up despite their unimaginable grief speaks volumes about their resilience. If anyone here is familiar with the case, did the community provide significant support during those difficult times? It's a stark reminder of how vital community support systems are after such traumatic events. I hope David's family, along with the others, found some solace in the community’s embrace during those dark days.
