In thinking about the tragic accident that took Michael Hedges' life, I can't help but focus on that dangerous stretch of State Route 128. For anyone who's driven that road, you know how tricky and unforgiving it can be, especially in bad weather. It's such a haunting thought that a rain-slicked curve could be the thing that led to losing a talented musician like Hedges. I can't imagine the pain his loved ones felt waiting for him, never suspecting such an ordinary drive would turn fatal. His absence left a void in the music world, but it must be even more profound for those who knew him personally. Holding space for his friends and family who had to face that unimaginable loss. Has anyone here driven that part of Route 128 and felt the same chill I imagine now?
