Just spent some time reading up on the Vallon Broadus case, and something that I can't stop thinking about is why the focus was so heavily on Nicholson and not on exploring other potential leads. I get that Nicholson had a history and was armed that night, but was there ever any consideration of outside influences given the involvement of drugs and prostitution? These elements often complicate situations and can draw in other dangerous individuals who might have had a motive. Not suggesting Nicholson wasn’t guilty, but it just feels like a lot of stones were left unturned. I hope Vallon’s family is finding some comfort and support throughout all of this. It must be incredibly difficult for them, grappling not just with the loss but also with the layers of this complex case.
