I’ve been following the tragedy involving Meshawna Latrice Jones and Markey Goff, and I can’t stop thinking about the little one who was found in the SUV with them. I can’t imagine what they might have witnessed or how this will affect them in the long run. It is such a miracle that they were physically unharmed, but the emotional and psychological impacts must be immense. I hope there are resources and support systems in place for the child and their family to help them navigate through the aftermath of this terrible event. The loss of life is devastating on its own, but knowing a young child was involved just adds another layer of distress. Sending strength to everyone affected, especially to that little one who will have to grow up with this heavy shadow. The community’s support and understanding can make such a difference during times like this.
