I've been thinking about Curtis Hergenrother's case and how everything unfolded with that knock on his door. It just hits me how a simple, everyday action like answering your door can turn into something so tragic. It's unsettling to realize that Curtis probably expected a normal day, maybe opening the door for a neighbor or a friend, and instead, his life was cut short. My heart goes out to his family and friends who now have to live with this senseless act of violence. It also makes me wonder about the woman who knocked — was she coerced, or was she part of the plan? It’s so important to understand all angles to piece together what truly happened. I hope the community continues to find ways to support Curtis's loved ones through this never-ending grief.
