I’ve been following Thuy Nguyen's case for a while now, and I can’t stop thinking about the language barrier she faced. It's alarming to consider how vulnerable she might have been without being able to communicate effectively. What if she tried to ask for help but couldn’t convey what was happening? It makes me wonder if there were people who saw her and wanted to help but couldn't understand her. It feels like there could be more witnesses out there who simply didn’t know what they were witnessing at the time. If anyone in the Lanier Drive area recalls seeing someone who may have seemed lost or in distress around May 2014, now is the time to come forward.

Has anyone ever looked into the area where Thuy Nguyen was last seen? The 3700 block of Lanier Drive seems pretty residential from what I can gather. I’ve always wondered whether there were any doorbell cameras or security footage that might have captured something back in 2014, even though the technology wasn't as widespread then as it is now. It’s unfortunate to think that language could have been a barrier in finding any clues. I know it’s been years, but sometimes revisiting older cases with new technology or even just fresh eyes can make a difference. Does anyone have any insights into whether local law enforcement has considered this angle?

Just found out about Thuy Nguyen’s case, and I can’t stop thinking about how challenging it must be for someone not speaking English to navigate life in the U.S., let alone if they find themselves in trouble. I wonder if she had a close-knit community in Baton Rouge that she could rely on or if she was more isolated. It's frustrating that with so little to go on, her case hasn't seen any breakthroughs. I’m holding out hope that someone who might have seen something that day on Lanier Drive will come forward. Missing person cases are always tough, but this one, without language as a tool to communicate distress, seems doubly so. Has anyone heard if there were nearby businesses with security cameras or if those were ever checked for leads?
