In May of 2014, the family and friends of Thuy Thi Cam Nguyen were faced with a sudden and worrying silence. The 37-year-old woman was last seen in the 3700 block of Lanier Drive in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a white t-shirt and grey sweatpants. She also had on several pieces of meaningful jewelry: a religious bracelet, a jade bracelet, and a gold-colored band with a clear stone on her left ring finger.
