Sylviane Lozada, a 51-year-old high school teacher from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was last heard from on July 5, 2011. On that day, she had a conversation with her family in Belgium, with whom she communicated daily. After that, no one heard from her again. At the time of her disappearance, she lived with her husband, Oscar Lozada, and their young daughter.
