In the late summer of 2021, a young life was abruptly and mysteriously interrupted, leaving a family and community with unanswered questions. Lidia Celinda Banegas-Funez, a fifteen-year-old girl, vanished from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on September 15, 2021.
