I recently found myself drawn to the discussion around the safety protocols at the 2A Shooting Center in Tulsa. In light of the tragic event involving Mitchell Jamal Vance Bab, I think it's crucial to examine what kind of safety measures are in place at shooting ranges to prevent such incidents. Having been to a couple of ranges myself, I noticed there's often a focus on handling firearms safely, but maybe we're missing the bigger picture here. Could there be additional ways to monitor interactions among patrons to identify potential threats before they escalate? Perhaps increased surveillance or even mental health screenings could be discussed as potential preventive measures. Mitchell's passing was a tremendous loss, and it's so important to find ways to ensure such violence doesn't happen again. My heart truly goes out to his family and loved ones during this incredibly painful time.
