I was just reading through some old case files and came across the tragic incident involving Officers Collura and Lesniewski. What struck me most was learning about Officer Collura's dedication to mentoring African-American youths in his community. It's incredibly moving to think about the positive impact he must have had on so many lives, especially in a challenging environment. His efforts in connecting with the community go beyond the badge, showing his genuine heart and commitment to making a difference. It's devastating to think that his life was cut short due to such senseless violence. My heart goes out to his family and the young people he inspired. They were not only deprived of a loved one and mentor but also a role model who truly cared about their future.
