In the autumn of 1991, a series of disappearances began to unfold in Tulsa, Oklahoma, leaving a family shattered and a community with unanswered questions. The story of Donald Ray Phillips is inextricably linked to that of his older sister, Paula. On October 3, 1991, 26-year-old Paula Phillips vanished after reportedly leaving her apartment to go to a nearby store. Four days later, on October 7, her 20-year-old brother, Donald, went to the Tulsa Police Department to report her missing. He was last seen at 6300 West 11th Place in Tulsa, the same day he filed the report. When investigators attempted to follow up with Donald for an interview regarding his sister's case just three days later, on October 10, he was nowhere to be found. From that day forward, Donald Ray Phillips, a young Black male with black hair and brown eyes, standing at 5'9" and weighing 132 pounds, also became a missing person. The mystery deepened as the months turned into a year. Thirteen months after the disappearances of Paula and Donald, another of their siblings, 21-year-old Londa Renee Phillips, also went missing in Tulsa on November 22, 1992. She had told her boyfriend she was going to visit a relative but never arrived. The disappearance of a third sibling solidified a tragic and bewildering pattern for the Phillips family. Authorities have stated their belief that the disappearances of the three siblings may be connected to each other and possibly to drug activity. While persons of interest have been identified in the cases, no suspects have been publicly named, and no arrests have ever been made. The case of Donald Ray Phillips is not an isolated incident but part of a larger, more complex web of missing persons from the Tulsa area around the same time. His case is often linked with those of his sisters, Paula and Londa, as well as Tomarion "Cookie" Denice Phillips Momodu, Clinton Blakely, and Althedia Vaught. The circumstances surrounding Donald's disappearance are particularly poignant, as his last known action was an attempt to find his missing sister. He was never officially reported as a missing person, possibly due to his age at the time. Despite the passage of decades, the cases of Donald and his siblings remain unsolved, leaving their family and community searching for answers. The Tulsa Police Department continues to list the case as open, and anyone with information is urged to come forward.
