I came across some old articles about Charles "Chuck" Kuebler's disappearance, and one detail that stands out is how experienced he was as a swimmer. People close to him mentioned he was a regular at Wrightsville Beach and often did similar swims. It's strange how someone so familiar with the water could just vanish. I'm curious if any local water conditions that day could have played a part. Does anyone here know if there were unusual currents or weather issues reported around the time Chuck went missing on July 26, 2016? It's so puzzling how this happened despite the Coast Guard's thorough search.

I’ve been following the Charles "Chuck" Kuebler case, and I’m curious about the conditions that day at Wrightsville Beach.
