Hey everyone, I wanted to talk about something that's been on my mind regarding the tragic murder of Bruce Lloyd Jr. I came across an article about the meeting location on the 2800 block of W. Kilbourn Avenue and how it played a role in this awful event. As someone who's lived in Milwaukee my whole life, I know how crucial it is for us to address the safety concerns in these areas. Why is it that places like this become spots for these types of activities? It's truly terrifying to think a simple transaction escalated to such a horrific conclusion. These locations should be safe for all of us, but sadly, they become hotspots for violence. I'm really hoping we can find ways to improve the safety and support systems within our community to prevent tragedies like this. Bruce was so young, just starting his life, and it's deeply unfair that his family is left to pick up the pieces. Let's keep discussing how we can create change and hopefully prevent these senseless losses from happening again. Sending strength to Bruce's family and friends during this unimaginably difficult time. They deserve justice and peace.
