I've been reading up on Darren Goodwan's case, and something that really struck me was the effect his loss has had on his daughters. From what I gathered, Da'shiya, Aubrey, and Olivia lost a father they adored and who loved them deeply. I can't even begin to imagine the heartache they must feel growing up without him. It's so unfair that gun violence ripped their dad away from them. I hope they're surrounded by supportive family and friends and find strength in each other as they navigate life without Darren. It's just a tragic reminder of how senseless violence can leave such a lasting impact on those left behind. Curious if anyone knows how the girls are coping nowadays or if any community initiatives have been started in Darren's memory to combat violence.
