I was reading about the tragic case of Devon and Paige Bohn, and my heart truly goes out to their mother, Amanda. The unimaginable grief of losing not one, but two children in such a horrific way must be devastating. I've been thinking a lot about what kind of support systems are available for parents like Amanda who suddenly find themselves in such a traumatic position. Beyond the immediate shock and mourning, the long-term healing process must be incredibly challenging.
I came across information about a scholarship fund set up in memory of Paige and Devon, which I think is a beautiful way to honor their lives and keep their memory alive. It’s comforting to see the community coming together to support Amanda and to ensure that some good comes from this senseless tragedy.
Does anyone know more about how Amanda is doing now, years later? I hope she has a strong support system and avenues for healing.
I’ve been following the case of Devon and Paige Bohn, and I can’t get over how tragic it is that this happened in such a tight-knit community like Wisconsin Rapids. I keep thinking about how vital it is to have mental health resources readily available for families. It’s devastating to see warning signs go unnoticed until it’s too late. I've heard there are some community groups trying to address these gaps, but I really hope more can be done to prevent tragedies like this in the future. Has anyone heard more about the initiatives that have started up since this happened? How can we as a community better support programs aimed at mental health crises?
