Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about Annie Ford’s case and feel so deeply for her 15-year-old son. I can't even imagine the trauma he must have gone through witnessing such a unimaginable event. It’s just so surreal that not only did he lose his mother, but he experienced that loss in a way that no child ever should. I read that Annie was really involved in their community and I keep wondering what kind of support system she had outside of home or if anyone noticed signs of trouble before it reached that devastating point. I'm also curious about the response from local agencies, considering the police were called twice on the night of the incident. This makes me wonder what more could have been done to prevent such a tragedy. My heart goes out to Annie’s son and the rest of her loved ones. I hope they have found some peace and continue to feel the community's support in healing from such a terrible event.
