Has anyone else been thinking about the role alcohol played in Jesse Ray O’Brien's tragic death? It’s so difficult to process not only the loss of Jesse but also the fact that his father, Scott, was involved in that heartbreaking incident. I can’t imagine the pain the entire O'Brien family must be going through, especially knowing that alcohol played such a big part in what happened that night. It really brings to focus how alcohol can distort judgment leading to irreversible actions. I truly hope that this tragedy serves as a wake-up call in the community to address the bigger issue of substance abuse. It's just so sad to think about how different things could have been and incredibly devastating for the family to deal with this heavy loss. My heart goes out to Jesse’s daughter, Olliana, and the rest of the family as they navigate this unimaginable tragedy.
