Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about Davonnie Turner-Basey's case and wanted to bring up something that maybe hasn’t been discussed much yet—the impact on his daughter. I can't imagine growing up without your father, especially knowing how much he was looking forward to celebrating her first birthday. It's so heartbreaking to know she’ll grow up with stories about him instead of having him by her side. This situation makes it even more urgent that we push for resolution and justice, not only for Davonnie but also for his little girl who will someday ask about what happened to her dad. Hopefully, the authorities can gather the needed information soon. It’s crucial that this family gets some form of closure, and that we work towards creating a safer future for all children in Milwaukee. If anyone has any leads or ideas for community action, let's keep discussing ways we can make a difference.
