I’m still trying to make sense of the tragic circumstances that ended in the loss of Alwiya S. Mohamed. While we might never fully understand what she was going through, I think it's crucial to talk more about how signs of domestic violence can often go unnoticed. It's so important for friends and family to check in and reach out, even if there’s just a gut feeling that something might be wrong. It’s heartbreaking how situations can reach a breaking point without anyone realizing just how dire things have become. I’m hoping that by discussing these issues, we can foster an environment where those affected feel safe and supported to seek help. Sending love and strength to all who knew and loved Alwiya. This is a loss that should have never happened.
