In the summer of 2022, a promising young life was tragically cut short in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Alwiya S. Mohamed, a 20-year-old Black / African American female, was killed on July 19, 2022, in a violent act that unfolded within a residence on the 2700 block of North 39th Street. The incident, which also resulted in the death of 26-year-old Ibrahim M. Hussein, has been characterized by authorities as a domestic violence-related murder-suicide.
