Has anyone looked into whether Bonnie Lena Gitto might have tried to make her way to Rocky Mount or Nash County? I know it's been a while since she disappeared, but her ties to those areas could be significant. I know that people sometimes return to places they’re familiar with. Plus, considering she didn’t have any means of transportation or money, maybe she hitched a ride or someone picked her up who was heading that way. It's frustrating how there's no trace of her after she left, especially since she would have been in a vulnerable state without her meds. Just wondering if there’s been an organized effort to canvas those areas or check with locals who might have seen someone fitting her description back around that time. It’s a small chance, but you never know what might turn up. Thoughts?
