Hey everyone, I've been diving into the unfortunate murder of Deputy Marshal Harry E. Miller, and something that struck me was the aftermath and how quickly the community banded together. It's astounding to think about the formation of a posse of citizens who just dropped everything to chase down those robbery suspects. I can't even imagine what the atmosphere was like in Kent back then, but this relentless pursuit speaks volumes about the tight-knit nature of the community and their determination to seek justice. While two of the suspects got life sentences and another got five years for manslaughter, I've been wondering about that elusive fourth suspect. Does anyone have any more details on whether they were ever caught? The whole event leaves me in awe of the courage displayed by both law enforcement and ordinary citizens.
